The historic charm of the inn, combined with the warm hospitality of the hosts, made us feel right at home. the comfortable room with a cozy sitting area was the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring. The pet-friendly amenities at Candlebay Inn were a pleasant surprise, as we were able to bring our furry companion along on this trip. Being within walking distance to downtown Freeport, we were able to explore the local shops and restaurants easily. the serene location of the inn provided a peaceful escape, while still being close to all the action. the delicious breakfast served each morning was a delightful start to our days. Overall, Candlebay Inn exceeded our expectations and provided the perfect blend of comfort and convenience for a relaxing stay in Freeport. We highly recommend this charming bed and breakfast to anyone looking for a personalized and memorable experience in Maine.
